YouTube Crackdown Users Using Ad Blockers. Two insights from this article: 1) YouTube is hunting for more revenues. 2) Consumers continue to find that Ads are annoying and have little value to them. There is a better way for serving Ads to consumers. “Google’s YouTube is ramping up its crackdown on privacy-preserving ad blockers to include third party apps. It comes after a YouTube ad blocking crackdown that started last year when users started receiving a pop up encouraging them to disable ad blockers or pay for Premium. YouTube also started disabling videos when users had enabled an ad blocking extension.Now, YouTube has issued a new warning to anyone using a third party app on the video streaming platform. “We’re strengthening our enforcement on third party apps that violate YouTube’s Terms of Service, specifically ad blocking apps,” Google said in an announcement on its support page.”Full article: https://lnkd.in/eMNKccB5

A Remarkable Life Story - On May 1st Georgia State University will be hosting an event with Charles and Ester Mulli. “Charles Mulli was the firstborn son of a poverty-stricken Kenyan family of ten children. By age 6 he was abandoned by his parents to live on the streets for the next 12 years. Through diligence, hard work, and faith, Charles rose to become a very successful businessman. He, his wife Esther, and their eight children lived very comfortably as Charles became a multi-millionaire.In 1986, Charles began to hear a call on his life to care for the thousands of abandoned children he encountered on the streets of Kenya, especially as he remembered his own struggles there as a child. In 1989, Charles and Esther began to take street orphans and vulnerable children into their home to be raised alongside their own biological children. Those numbers grew so that over the last 35 years, the Mully Family has given their entire lives and considerable fortune to rescue, adopt, house, feed, clothe, and educate well over 27,000 Kenyan orphans who have graduated from the program as well as an additional 6,826 in the program currently.”

I firmly believe that education matched with opportunities can not only change one’s person life, but their families, communities and why not … the world! This is my story. My parents were orphans but he taught us the value of education. I had to work to pay for all my education. I saved money to come to the US to immerse in an ESL training at BU, after my tenure with PepsiCo Brasil.
